Meet Cammie Saunders
Hi, I’m Cammie.
Nest Remodel & Design really began in our own home.
My husband and I bought a home built in 1977 and, like so many homeowners, we could see everything it could be. What started as remodeling our own space quickly became a passion for taking homes with good bones and helping them feel fresh, beautiful, functional, and completely personal.
In 2020, that passion became Nest Remodel & Design.
Today, I have the privilege of helping homeowners throughout the Treasure Valley create spaces they’re excited to come home to. I love getting to know my clients, understanding how they live, and finding the little details that make a space feel like theirs. To me, good design isn’t about chasing trends. It’s about creating a home that works for your life and feels like you.
When I’m not dreaming up a new space, you’ll usually find me spending time with my husband, Chris, and our two kids. Family is a huge part of who I am, and it’s also shaped the way I think about design. A home needs to be beautiful, but it also needs to be lived in, gathered in, laughed in, and enjoyed.
That’s really what Nest is all about. Helping you see the possibilities in the home you already have and creating a space that makes you love the home you’re in.
Our Philosophy
At Nest Remodel & Design, we believe a beautifully remodeled home starts with thoughtful design, but it takes much more than a great vision to bring it to life.
Every project begins by getting to know you. We want to understand how you live, what you love, what isn’t working in your current space, and how you want your home to feel when the project is complete. From there, we create a design that balances beauty and function, combining timeless elements with carefully chosen details that make the finished space uniquely yours.
We believe quality matters at every level. That means selecting beautiful, high quality materials and finishes that are made to last, while working with a trusted network of contractors, craftsmen, suppliers, and vendors whose work we know and believe in. These are relationships we have built through experience, allowing us to surround every project with people and products that meet the standards we expect for our clients and their homes.
Just as important is the experience along the way. Remodeling can involve designers, contractors, subcontractors, suppliers, schedules, deliveries, selections, and countless decisions. We don't believe you should have to manage all of that yourself.
Nest provides a full service remodeling experience, serving as your primary point of contact from the first design conversation through the final details of your completed space. We coordinate the moving pieces, communicate with our contractors and vendors, manage the details, and help keep your project moving forward. Instead of spending your time tracking down subcontractors or trying to figure out what happens next, you communicate with us.
Our goal is simple: to make the remodeling experience feel as thoughtful and intentional as the home we create together.
Because great design isn't just about making your home look different. It's about creating a space that feels unmistakably yours and makes you love the home you're in.
